Property Tax Relief
Many in the Commonwealth are increasingly finding themselves under the gun of out-of-control property taxes.  With some seniors one re-assessment away from losing their home, the partisan sniping that has consistently failed us in the past must be abandoned and the interests of our fellow Pennsylvanians must take precedent.  As Representative, I will not seek a Democratic or Republican solution, but rather one that actually solves the problem by significantly reducing or eliminating the tax burden felt by too many in Pennsylvania.

Term Limits
We have a real need for term limitation for legislators in Pennsylvania.  There are good men and women of both parties that have served dutifully, but it is my belief that there ought to be limits on the length of time for which any person can hold one position.  Those officials nearing the limit of their term ought to give consideration to the thought of running for higher office, having presumably accrued a record of competency and accomplishment worthy of such a position.

Non-Partisan Redistricting
When elected officials have to honestly compete for votes, citizens win, and when politicians feel safe, temptation rears it's head and corruption suddenly has an environment in which to thrive.  When we redraw our districts in the coming years, we cannot allow either party to become safe and subject to temptation; rather we must choose the harder path to follow and redistrict without red or blue tinted glasses.

Healthcare for All Pennsylvanians
For far too long, thousands in Pennsylvania have gone without healthcare.  As Representative, I will consider all options on the table to ensure that Pennsylvanians of all ages have access to affordable, high-quality healthcare.

Open Space Preservation
One of Pennsylvania's greatest assets is it's rich rural character.  The preservation of these areas from over-development and the conservation of Pennsylvania's wildlife, environment and natural resources will be a Keystone of any time I spend in Harrisburg should I be elected in November.

Bipartisanship in Harrisburg
There are a large number of issues facing Pennsylvanians, more than can be listed in any one web page, and all of which need to be dealt with in a manner more conducive to solutions than the current way that more often devolves into partisan bickering and name-calling.  As both a candidate and as a potential Representative, it is my personal goal to resist the base reactions that we have become all too familiar with.
